Many of us working with metadata are very interested in how AI tools can be used for resource description at a large scale. Artifacts (as opposed to textual documents) present a particular challenge for AI-generated metadata, and I appreciate how the Smithsonian took a serious look at potential bias in this area. Reading about their path toward creating an AI values statement was also enlightening.
